On 22nd January, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, announced the nominees for the 81st Academy Awards in Beverly Hills. Riding on its success at the Golden Globe awards, Slumdog Millionaire was nominated in 10 awards but this time, Curious Case of Benjamin Button (starring Brad Pitt) leads the race with a total of 13 nominations. The Oscars will be presented on February 22nd, 2009 at Kodak Theatre in California. As the road to Oscars heats up and with the debate raging who will take away the maximum number of awards. Over the period of next few weeks, we bring you a sneak peek of what the nominated movies are going to be like. Although there are predictions on who will win awards in certain categories, there’s going to be a close contest in the category of Best Picture, Actors, Actress, Direction.
