This film redefines the meaning of the word “Cliche”. After having endured the horrendous attempt for being horrific, I can safely conclude that this movie has not got an element horror…it’s Horrible with a capital H!!

Story: Nandita (Kangana) is a successful model who’s in a troubled relationship with a TV reality show host Yash (Adhyayan Suman). Yash tries to rekindle a love affair with Nandita and as time goes by……

(Sharp Sound)

(A shriek)

(Suddenly audience bursts into laughter)…and I woke up.

Prithvi (Emraan Hashmi) has entered the scene. He looks like a modern avatar of Kroor Singh from Chandrakantha….and he keeps stalking Nandita…paintings…prediction…doom…prophecy…Evil…Satan…

(The lights are lit…Interval)

(I come back and start sleeping again…)

(More shrills and shrieks)

Kangana is freaking out….she’s levitating…..

(Another nap…another buzz in the audience)

Jackie Shroff enters the scene…

(Another nap…and this time there’s too much buzz in the audience)

Yash is dead and end credits roll on…

Well, I am exaggerating the sequence of events. I did watch the whole movie, but I wish I had taken a good nap. At the end, I can safely conclude, this film is dead right from the word Go. Boring…Cliched…shameless potpourri of “The Ring”, “Mirrors”, zillion other B-Grade Hindi horror flicks (I am sure those were much much better). This film deserves to be at the Razzies…and a sheer waste of time, money and energy…and silly. Sans couple of songs which sound good, you can walk out as and when you wish and instead enjoy a cosy sunday evening in your bed. Two thumbs down for Mohit Suri’s Raaz-2…I am sure our lives and dreams have more horror than this flick. If you have seen the trailer of the flick, that should be more than enough….Summing up the 2:30 hour movie in 2 lines…all I can say is…

“Yeh Raaz asudh hai,

har taraf se sadh chuki hai”

After Thoughts: I seriously wish, they put an end to this mystery and bury it in history. Another sequel like this, I am sure even Satan would get bored, how mundane Satan looks on screen.
