Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Drona is releasing this weekend after lot of fanfare , movie is billed as superhero ( it’s another case that I don’t agree with same ) movie . Promos aired had showed some good effects and looks interesting. Drona is crucial movie for Abhishek as this is his solo movie after long time and for Priyanka she is searching for an elusive hit
Let’s see how critics has faired this movie.

Synopsis :
Looks like Drona is mythological , superhero , fantasy movie all rolled into one and is about a superhero who is protecting a truth which universe is holding since the time of its birth. Ritz is trying to get that truth so that he can rule the world. Aditya is normal person who is realized by Sonia that he is actually Drona and should save the world.
This is long and short of the movie.
Good and the Bad in Drona:
Let’s see what is good in Drona , so as per Buzz18 Drona has some good effects for a Hindi movie and Kay Kay has acted well , bad part is missing Drona’s fight sequence as he hardly does any considering it’s his movie and most part it is Priyanka who is doing the sequence . Performances are hardly to speak about except for Kay - Kay.
TOI has been direct on bashing Drona and has said that Abhishek was not suitable for the role and to quote them
Abhishek Bachchan is a good actor but certainly doesn’t have the poise, polish or personality to grace a superhero. He lacks both, the bulk and the body language to carry off his larger-than-life character.
NDTV has said things on the same line about the movie
Even when Aditya becomes Drona, he doesn’t transform physically into a man of stature. He seems out-of-shape and weighed down by his costume, which looks like a left-over from Amitabh Bachchan’s Toofan days.
Looks like Drona is good in patches and could have been better if not for the casting of Abhishek as protagonist and over flowing over layered dresses. What more can i say about the movie

BUzz18 has given rating of 2.5.
TOI has given 1.5 star with comment like
Evidently Drona’s outcome is rona .

Where Manisha has been Kidnapped While Swimming but in every Other Scene she is Wearing some Designer Revealing Outfit..
In one scene she comes out of water with empty handed and suddenly she is with Broken Bottle in her hand..
Imran khan has nothing in the name of Expression.. same Jane tu jana naa Emotions can been seen while he is Speeking some Intense dialogs..
They where showing anything.. All Skin Show…
Instead Drona Was better than Kidnap..
It is Not a Superhero movie as every one was expecting.. it is a story of a Dynasty(King) who is their to protect “Amrit”. but the Latest kind(Aditya) don’t know anything about his Destiny. nice effects.. ..
I heard that some one saying how Drona knows what he has to spell(Mantr) at what time.. so i will like to tell those that they han not watched the movie properly.. it is all because of that wrist band and Sword. that has been Created for the kings( Dynasty) to protect the (Amrit)..
It could have been better but still was Good..
One should watch it..

kidnap is far better than drona.at least , every part of kidnap is interesting.drona is a complete suck off . also,kidnap is much better as per the storyline, acting and cinematography is concerned.that is why imran got the best actor of the week,(last week).also,kidnap has been liked more by everyone than drona.

watched movie online for free. This movie doesnt even deserve to be watched free, thats what i felt. compete piece of crapppp. want to commit suicide, no need of poison, just watch drona. you will die automatically.

I have seen first 30 minutes movie and can feel that the whole movie is bakwaas.. i can not tolerate more of this nonsense..good luck to all those who will watch the whole movie

Just watched this movie . This is horrible movie to say the least. I have seen lot of bad movies but this one truly stands out , there was nothing good in the movie from the start till the point I saw. There is no story , there is no superhero and he doesnt do anything infact most of the time Drona is saved by his bodygaurd. Villian is a laughing stock. Action sequence makes mockery of word “action”.
This movie is poison pill and anyone with camcorder can come up with better visuals then this crap.

drona was one of the floppest movie in my whole lifetime. what it this in modern days he is riding horse. and superhero in train jumping.hahamost wierd scene.dont ever watch it.. infact kidnap brings something excitement..least.e.
